Our new chapter

Dear Customer

It stretches the memory to look back and realise it is 35 years that we have been trading in the beautiful town of Woodbridge. From the small shop next door to our much larger present premises a few years later that are familiar to you.

Russell has now sold the entire building, always his long term plan, and from mid February Woodbridge Violins will operate from the first floor which will house the workshop and two music rooms with delightful views over the Market Hill square.

Throughout our time here the business has continued to expand, attracting players from all over East Anglia as well as many other parts of the country.

Restoration of quality instruments forms the main part of our business, for violins, violas, cellos, basses and bows. Our workshops are inundated with restoration work which requires a calm and quiet environment plus maximum concentration.

The main change therefore to new and existing customers will be our request for them to make an appointment prior to a visit.

We hope you will be impressed with the new set up where a full stock of all instruments will be on display as well as the two music rooms to try out any instrument in a tranquil environment.

Access to upstairs is to the door on the right of the old shop door, press the bell and a staff member will greet you at the further end of the passageway.

We sincerely look forward to welcoming you to experience this new chapter of Woodbridge Violins where you can continue to enjoy our high standard of personal service.
